Justin Thorp
Fiddle/ Mandolin/ Harmony Vocals
Justin Thorpe played classical violin in grade school and all through college. After college he switched to playing bluegrass so he could play in bar bands where he wouldn't have to read music and could simply play with more of his own unique style and express himself more fully. Mostly though, just so he wouldn't have to read music. He played with several Bluegrass and folk bands over the years including the Poison Okies, the Wild Firs, and Center Mast String Quartet.
When Justin isn't playing his fiddle or the new mandolin he just bought, he works as a lawyer for a local firm. Don't ask him about his day job! He is blessed with two beautiful twin daughters, Amelia and Beatrice, who will someday be a famous music duo unless they pursue their other interests such as cooking or studying spiders.
